Our Coffee

Where does your coffee come from?

Our coffee comes from all around the world! Each month, we bring in coffee from a different region or country. We've got Honduras, Panama, Ethiopia...you name it! If you want to know more about the farms we source from, just check out our product descriptions or feel free to ask us!

Is your coffee fair trade?

Absolutely! The fair trade movement is amazing. It guarantees a fair wage for mass growers and coffee producers. We are proud to give our full support!

Is your coffee fresh?

Freshly roasted coffee made just for you! Our team roasts each batch to order, ensuring that every cup is a flavorful delight.

Your coffee is so fresh that we actually recommend waiting about 7 days off roast to brew it so the coffee can properly degas. With that, the time it takes for the coffee to degas to reach optimal flavor coincides perfectly with the time it takes for the coffee to ship so you're receiving the freshest coffee possible! Do you flavour the coffee?

Currently no, but due to overwhelming demand, we will soon offer a flavoured coffee subscription in addition to our original roasted coffee subscription. Join our mailing list to be notified when our flavoured subscription goes live!

What are "tasting notes"?

The tasting notes are flavors we have identified within each coffee. Vanilla, almond, maple, berry, chocolate and more are all flavors that you can discover in single-origin coffee. Much like wine, coffee boasts a bounty of unique tastes, in fact, coffee has more than 800 aromatic and flavor compounds, wine only has 200.

Do I have to use your brewing recommendations?

Absolutely not. Our brewing recommendations are just that: recommendations. We believe they produce great tasting coffee, but if you have a different method you prefer, go for it!

How much coffee comes in each bag?

Currently we offer 14oz/340g bags of coffee, which will serve roughly 30 cups.

Do you offer decaf?

Currently we have not had enough requests to justify a decaf roast; however, if you would like decaf coffee, please let us know by emailing us at info@sipscribe.ca

Can I brew with a Keurig?

Yes! We offer a Keurig-compatible pod subscription, or you can purchase our bagged coffee and use a re-usable k-cup.

How can I change my roast type?

Login to your account > View your subscription > Add item > Pick your new preference > remove the original product > Save.

Hint: Make sure to update the quantity of your new item.

Managing Your Account

What is the account for?

With your online account, you can update your preferences, shipping address, billing information, and adjust your shipping schedule.

How do I sign up for an account?

Simple, go to the Login screen from the home page or by clicking HERE, and select 'Create an account'. If you have already placed an order and have an active subscription, use the same email address for your account - the subscription will be automatically linked to your account.

Payment

Can I cancel at anytime?

Absolutely. Please note, if you cancel your subscription after your next shipment has already been processed and/or shipped, the cancellation will take effect after that shipment.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Interac.

When will I be charged for my subscription?

You will be charged for your first order as soon as you complete the checkout process, and your next shipment will be charged based on the delivery frequency you choose. For example, if you place your first order on January 1st with a shipment frequency of 4-weeks, you will be charged for your first shipment on January 1st and your next shipment 4-weeks later (January 29th).

Are there shipping fees?

We offer free shipping in Canada on orders over $50. In some rare cases, if your address is outside of Canada Post's regular delivery area, there may be additional shipping fees - but we will reach out to let you know.

Shipping

What if my order says delivered but I haven't received it yet?

In some cases, it may take 5-7 days from the time your order has shipped until you receive it. If you still haven't received your shipment after 7 days, please email us so we can assist you: info@sipscribe.ca

Where do you ship to?

We ship all over Canada. If you are in the US, chances are we can ship to you also, but there will be shipping charges. Please email us prior to placing your first order so we can let you know what the shipping charges will be: info@sipscribe.ca

How long will it take to receive my order?

We do our best to roast, package, and ship your coffee as soon as you order it. From the time you place your order to the time you receive your shipment is typically 3-6 business days.

What are the shipping costs for orders to the United States?

The shipping cost is variable depending on what you are ordering, the frequency of shipments, and where you are located. Please email us to get an accurate shipping quote: info@sipscribe.ca
